Tattoo Flash sheet 7 by JasonMas Tattoo Flash sheet 7 by JasonMas
I've been tattooing for 16 years and I finally completed a full 10 sheet set of flash a little more then a year ago. Its all Halloween, gothy, creepy, horror themed. My bag baby! These were all done with Prismacolor colored pencil on Bristol board.

Hey Jason! These are great tattoos. I've been doing some research on flashes lately as I'm interested in becoming an artist. I've learned there is a ton to know - I feel behind already!

Anyway, I'm really impressed with your lines and colors here, they are bright and interesting designs. Your experience shows!

Hey thanks Nyodra! Looking at your own artwork I wouldn't say you're behind. When it comes to tattoos the fact that you are already an artist, believe it or not, you have a great advantage. Too many people get into tattooing that cant even draw. You just have to find the right Tattoo artist (an artist whos work you admire) whos looking for an apprentice and you'll be off and running. Good luck and thanks for the kind words and compliments! Cheers!

Thank you so very much for this comment! It really has made me feel much better about taking the next step when it's time. I'm quite lucky in that my brother-in-law has been in the business for over 10 years now and has been an excellent insight to how he got started. I'm hoping to approach him with the idea once I am fully prepared to wow him. I'm hoping if he can't teach me that he'd know someone who'd be interested. I live in a situation where I can't really pick up and travel easily (young children) so I'm probably not going to be able to be very choosy about who I apprentice under, unfortunately. I actually just finished my first design [link], I'd really love your opinion as this is all so new to me. Thanks again!
